Art

I am a botanical and natural history artist, working primarily in watercolour. Since 2000, I have exhibited widely in a number of galleries in Somerset, Bath and London. I have also exhibited with the Society of Botanical Artists, the Society of Women Artists and the Chelsea Arts Club. My work is held in numerous private collections in the UK and Europe and two of my paintings are in the private collection in Kensington Palace.

I find the natural world endlessly fascinating and inspirational and am continually amazed and humbled by the beauty of the world around us. My main interests lie in wild flowers and plants, although I also have a great love of roses and have painted many over the years. I find insects fascinating to paint, particularly beetles and butterflies. Scroll down to see some examples of my paintings, along with some sketchbook pages.

I have also previously taught botanical painting courses and workshops. If you would be interested in participating in natural history and/or botanical painting classes, please email me to register your interest.

If you would like to commission a painting, some illustrations or discuss any aspect of my work, please email me at annabelwynne@gmail.com
